But since it goes dirty cheap on the sales, get the base game and test it out. If you like it, get the dlcs later on. When I first bought it, I got the game and played for 50ish hours before buying
I almost certain that 1.46 will bring Texas with it. Rule of thumb: major update with minor features usually will feature a dlc. They didn’t add a truck to the steam page icon for Texas. Maybe 1.7 update is Texas. Many Texas assets have been added into the beta.
Depends on what you want. Though generally map DLCs are always a good idea as they give you more area to drive on. I would recommend the Going East DLC as it is pretty cheap and it connects with the Road to the Black Sea DLC so that, if you buy that DLC too, you can take contracts from the base map to over the Going East DLC to the Road to the Black Sea DLC.

To buy trucks for the new garage, visit the truck dealer via the main menu.
