Didn’t want to update until my favourite mods had come up to speed. I just updated to 1.44 a couple of days ago. Took me a while to set everything up including the mods. I’m experiencing massive lags and at least 1gb more memory usage after the 1.44 update. Using Promods 2.61 as well, but the game lags in the vanilla version also.
But on top of that, there are general limits for different vessels. And the actual limit is always the lowest of all limits. For example if the general limit for trucks is 80 and the track limit is 120, then the actual limit is 80. Unfortunately the general limits vary for each country.

This mod aims to make your ETS2 driving more realistic by changing the way fines happen. Basically, you won’t get fined out of nowhere as if somebody is watching you all the time. Also fines have been adjusted to German traffic laws. You will get fined for: – Speeding ONLY when there is a speed camera present.
