What makes MX worth considering are the wide range of tools they provide on top of Debian stable to make configuration and use a little more friendly. The biggest drawback for me for MX was the lack of use of systemd. For me, this makes the underlying system less modern and less easy to maintain than standard Debian.
Half a year ago I was using Manjaro KDE, which was then using a slightly older KDE version than Kubuntu 22.04 today, but it already had the “GPU” entry in this widget. I recommend the flavor "MX Linux KDE", it include the AHS repos, it's very user friendly, very performant and MX include a lot of tools for configuration and administration that simplify the day-to-day use. CPU/GPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G; Motherboard: Asrock B550M-HDV; RAM: 16GB DDR4; Disk: 1TB M.2 NVMe; Kernel: 5.10KDE and XFCE are popular Linux (and other UNIX-like) desktop environments. KDE Plasma offers a beautiful yet highly customizable desktop, whereas XFCE provides a clean, minimalistic, and lightweight desktop. KDE might be a better option for the users moving to Linux from Windows, and XFCE might be a better option for systems low on resources.
MX Linux seems to prefer single-click over double-click. It is a debatable topic, but many new users and I are used to double-click. So, it is a drawback in my opinion. Terminal vs GUI.
